Founded in 1967, Lab is a co-educational day school that serves approximately 385 students, grades 1 – 12, with language-based learning differences.

Director of Academic Clubs, History and Art Teacher, 2016 – August 2024

Teach an arts-integrated, experiential course on Renaissance history for fifth grade students with learning disabilities. For school year 23-24 I developed the curriculum to serve third grade students online with Lab’s Global Division.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DEIB) Coordinator, 2020 – 2023

Supports DEIB initiatives as set by the Director of DEIB and assists with executing relevant strategies.

Supports the Director of DEIB to implement, monitor progress, and recommend adjustments in agreement with the “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategic Plan.”

Serves as a resource for faculty with respect to curriculum design and student support; specifically, collaborates with both individual faculty members and departments to develop courses and curricula that include the study of race, gender, ethnicity, nation and nationhood, class, and religion and their intersections.

Acts as liaison to and develops strong relationships with the various diversity and

inclusion-related groups in division, and, in consultation with the Director of DEIB, Division Head, and Associate Division Head, to respond to equity- and inclusion-related issues among the student body as they arise.

Supports and develops student leadership in matters related to diversity, inclusion,

equity, belonging, and justice.

Responsible for organizing and coordinating division wide student Affinity Groups.

Designing and leading student heritage month celebrations and activities.
